Hi! I have brewed kombucha for sometime and have had luck creating a “scoby hotel” – simply use a large clean jar to slip scobies you want to store into. Pour fresh kombucha over the scobies and a breathable covering over the lid (I use a coffee filter and rubberband to secure it). Then, place your scoby hotel in the fridge! The scobies will keep for sometime. I would replace the original booch they are sitting in every month or so with a fresher booch. Good Luck!
