Hi everyone! I am about to bottle my kombucha, and I want to find a healthy natural way to add some sugar to encourage the carbonation– what should I use?
And another question– will using lemon slices to add sugar and flavor mess up the acidity and throw off the carbonation?
You can use, well, just about anything with sugar :p. Fruits and fruit juices are what most people use. Many people flavor kombucha with lemon…acidity levels do not affect carbonation too much.
